Facilitation + workshop

WHAT DO I BRING AS A FACILITATOR?

  • I bring humor, curiosity, a strong knowledge of leadership development and a deep respect for each individual. My goal is to always create trust and a safe and brave, collaborative, container in which magic and learning can happen.

  • As a Leadership Development Instructor I use the foundation of the content structure, while being adaptable with the needs of the learners.  Creating space for tough conversations and whatever comes up in the room.  I work to make sure that all voices are heard and learning styles addressed.

  • Strong and adaptable communication style, that matches the energy and the power in the room, distilling comments and discussion for additional clarity.

  • Knowledgeable in adult learning theory and neuroscience, to insure an impactful and engaging session.

  • DEI trained and informed. I hold inclusion at the core of all that I do and will address difficult conversations with diplomacy and tact, for all considered.

As an Executive Coach, I ask inquisitive questions to go deeper in conversations, when necessary, or to move the conversations along while creating synergy amongst the group.

  • Inclusivity.  Noticing what people need and making sure it’s an inclusive and safe space for all voices to be heard.

  • Creator and/or Implementor of a PLAN: holding the foundation and structure, while being in the moment to go with the flow of what wants and needs to emerge; while holding the agenda and respecting the time and content.

  • Focus on trust, safety, clarity, communication and results.

  • Mediator of perspectives, to let all voices be heard and understood.

  • Humor, lightness and fun.  Endeavors to create an engaging space that people want to join in and participate vs. being a “waste of a day”.A facilitated and customized team building workshop. This workshop has been used with teams from 5 to 50 and may be customized depending on your needs.

PERSONALIZED what do you want for your Team Workshop?

  • Clarity: What is the intention for your team?  The goals, the desired outcome, what was the prompt to create this workshop? What is the problem you are trying to solve for?

  • End Goal: Where do you want to be? How do you want the team to feel? Accountability, follow-up, future visioning.

  • Application: We get to the intention and the outcome that you are desiring, together.  Review and sign-off on content.

  • After facilitation follow-up and continued support.

A snapshot of anonymous survey responses:

“I really appreciate the way you facilitate group sessions in a very inviting, relaxed and productive manner; You were very effective in conveying the concepts of {topic}; very clear and succinct, while your enthusiasm and passion on the topic came through. Upon reflection, it was impressive you were able to avoid not going down too many rabbit holes with a ton of detail which could have potentially been distracting. Also, by not being dogmatic about the topic you allowed for me to have an open mind and eagerly follow the journey you facilitated.”

“I have found the sessions really interesting and I love how you facilitate. I find what you have shared in terms of strategies/concepts, publications, models, etc. very helpful.”
